On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 February 2012, the Southern Cape Old Car Club hosted the annual George Motor Show to promote veteran and vintage cars.
A big congratulations to Jessica O’Gorman from RSW Risk Managers (Pty) Limited in Pinetown whose name was drawn out of the hat from the broker surveys received.
Robyn Braithwaite, our Regional Marketing Manager for the Kwa Zulu Natal region handed Jessica her beautiful “pamper hamper”, and a few pictures were taken (which you can view below).

On Friday 2 December 2011, the Wheels staff got together for our annual year-end bash.

On Thursday 3 November 2011, the Insurance Institute of Gauteng hosted its Annual Gala Dinner at the Sandton Convention Centre. It was a glittering function with superb cuisine and an elegant assembly of distinguished guests and members of the Gauteng Institute.
Our Chief Executive, John Towsey, was given special recognition for 50 years in the insurance industry. Quite a huge achievement!

On Sunday 6 November 2011, the Jan Burger Sports Complex in Parow North will be home to the Cape Classic Car Show. This is THE BIG Cape Town event, organised by the Cape Multi-Motor Club Secretariate and supported by some 50 participating Car Clubs.

Every year on the last weekend in October, thousands of bikers get together in Harrismith for the annual Rhino Rally. According to most, this is one rally no-one wanted to miss. People said that no-one organised any other event on this weekend because they are all going to the Rhino.

Every year, in July, The Classic Motorcycle Club host the 1,000 Bike Show at the Germiston High School. The club was started in 1968 by a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who wanted to preserve classic motorcycles. Today, the club has over 300 members.
Wheels was there, together with thousands of bikers and members of the public.
