Cheryl Kapp

Regional Marketing Manager – Eastern Cape (041 368 7319)

Cheryl Kapp

After doing her apprenticeship as a claims clerk, she was promoted to the position of claims superintendent.  After the birth of her first daughter she worked for AA Mutual until it shut its doors.  Cheryl then moved to Mutual & Federal for a brief spell, and then on to Allianz where the break finally came to move into marketing.

Her desire to become a Manager was realised when she joined Aegis as Commercial Manager.  Six months later Cheryl headed up the sales team for Guardian National due to the Aegis/Guardian merger. When the Guardian/Santam merger took place, her career in marketing continued until she left them in 2003.

Cheryl worked for a broker until 2006, when she joined Wheels Underwriting Managers as Regional Marketing Manager.

After many years in insurance, she says that she still finds it as challenging and changing as the day she first started her insurance career.
